Fabric Expansion Bellow

Our company is into the manufacturing of an array of superior grade Fabric Expansion Joints (Bellows) that are available in different sizes & shapes. Both standard size and custom designed for a particular application is offered by us. While manufacturing the expansion bellows we make sure that the requisite parameters are taken into consideration.

Our expansion bellow has three basic variety/type of Multi-Layer construction in order to meet with the demands of the clients.

• Type 1) For Clean Air Systems : It varies from simple air exhaust on blowers and fans to high temperature air discharge from heaters.
• Type 2) For gas with low acid content : It is used on Gas Turbine Exhaust and also on less severe flue gas systems.
• Type 3) For gas with high acid content : It is used in environments, where the flue gas contains acids that is formed due to condensation at shut down.
  
  

The Acid barriers are either PTFE foil thermally welded or PTFE impregnated glass cloth to ensure tight seal.
The Multi-layer fabric temperature ranges from almost -50^oC and 1090^oC with a standard pressure range that is of + 120" W.G

An important attribute in the REX Multi-Layer Fabric is that it doesn’t rely on an insulation pillow to reduce the temperature.

Moreover, the Multi-Layer Fabric is manufactured in a manner so that it withstands the temperature regardless of its secondary insulation pillow.

Many of the competitive designs bank upon the insulation pillow for the protection of their element with hazardous results after several temperature cycles.

The expansion joints are fully fitted and assembled to support steelwork, which is ready for insertion into duct work.  

Last but not the least for retrofit applications, we provide as factory joined or open for on-site joining where the access is limited.
