Product Description
The wide range of silica products we provide are a convenient and field installable solution to high temperature problems.
It is made from 96% pure SiO2 silica fiber, which is coated one side with a pressure sensitive adhesive, which facilitates installation. The adhesive decomposes only at high temperatures and therefore, is a perfect tape-wrapped cable, hose or pipe that provides personnel protection and energy saving.
Its most suitable use is at 1800°F (982oC) and can withstand exposure till 3000oF (1650oC). The "REX" Silica Tape has set the standard of quality in flexibility and shrinkage under high heat conditions.
